Leader TSV Peiting is a guest at bottom Moorenweis - and hopes that rival Altenstadt will score at the same time.

Personnel problems plague TSV Bernbeuren.

District – The return from the winter break for the trio from the old district of Schongau in district league 2 was a bit tough. Only TSV Peiting achieved a – difficult – victory.

TSV Altenstadt and TSV Bernbeuren, on the other hand, went away empty-handed.

The people of Peiting are now hoping for less tension and another success, while Altenstadt and Bernbeuren would be quite happy with a draw this weekend.

TSV Peiting will play in Moorenweis on Saturday

At the beginning of the season, TSV Peiting regularly had to tremble for points in a few tight games.

After that, the front runner performed much more confidently.

However, the first game of this year showed tendencies that coach Fabian Melzer didn't like.

"Hopefully there won't be another nail-biter," said Melzer, whose team is supposed to prove this Saturday (5 p.m.) at TSV Moorenweis that things can be done differently.

On paper, the Peitingers are favorites as the frontrunners against the laggards.

"But they also have some good kickers, and we've always struggled in the past," warns Melzer of the home side, who only managed a narrow 1-0 win in the first leg.

With the exception of Elias Heiss, everyone at Peitingen is on board.

TSV Altenstadt expects the VSST Günzlhofen

The people of Peiting don't usually care how their neighbors play.

On Sunday (3 p.m.) they will keep their fingers crossed for TSV Altenstadt.

After all, he is expecting the VSST Günzlhofen - and he is currently the closest pursuer of the leader.

"This is one of the strongest teams in the league with many experienced people," reports TSV player coach Christoph Schmitt before the duel with the second-placed team, against whom there was a 1-2 defeat in the first comparison.

"It will be a very difficult task, but we are in good spirits, although we have to step up our game compared to last week," Schmitt demands.

He expects his team to improve after the 4-3 defeat in Penzing.

With the exception of the injured Dominik Müller, he can rely on the same squad as last time.

TSV Bernbeuren trusts in the youth

Not to be envied are Roman Lerchenmüller and Michael Boos, who took over as player-coach duo at TSV Bernbeuren during the winter break.

Due to numerous injuries and illnesses, the two only have a skeleton squad available for the guest game on Sunday (12.15 p.m.) at FC Eichenau.

"We have three twenty-year-olds playing in defence," Lerchenmüller explains the impact of the numerous absences.

He bets and trusts the young players.

He tries not to put too much pressure on the three youngsters.

"We're going to take a look from game to game," says Lerchenmüller.

He wants to hide the table, which shows his team only four points ahead of the relegation places, as much as possible.

Eichenau, which TSV defeated 1-0 in the first leg, has one point less than TSV and is therefore a direct competitor.

"Like us, they didn't have a good run," said Lerchenmüller, who could live well with a draw abroad.
