The Huglfinger B-Juniors start against Wacker II in the second half of the national league.

Although the team is at the top, coach Marco Tragl puts the brakes on the euphoria.

Huglfing – Marco Tragl would like to focus exclusively on training and tactics, but the coach of the Huglfing B-Juniors always has to be involved in recruiting.

"I can only hope that we will always get a powerful team together," says Tragl before the start of the second half of the season in the Landesliga Süd.

With the home game this Saturday, April 2, 3 p.m., against FFC Wacker Munich II, the Huglfinger junior soccer team will start the second half of the season.

Start of the second half of the season as table leader

The preliminary round could not have gone better for the team.

Six wins, one draw, no defeat - the record was excellent.

"Somewhat surprising, but not undeserved," said Tragl, SC Huglfing went into the winter break as the championship leader.

In view of the appearances so far, it seems strange at first when the SC coach looks a little skeptical about the second half of the season.

However, the preparation "unfortunately didn't go as well as it should," reports Tragl.

The squad is not large anyway, and then there were also absences due to Corona.

There is also an age-related peculiarity: Many players are currently doing their driver's license and were missing here and there due to driving and theory lessons.

On average, according to Tragl, there were around nine or ten players in training.

Due to Corona, the Huglfingerinnen were only able to play one test game.

As far as the staff for the second half of the season is concerned, "it's looking pretty good for Saturday at the moment," says Tragl.

In the first leg, Huglfing won 4-0.

Training:

The B juniors train on Tuesdays and Thursdays (6 to 7.30 p.m.).

Female players (born 2005 to 2009) are always welcome.

Girls who play in a boys' team can also compete for Huglfing with the right to play a second game (no need to change clubs).
