VfB official only binds and commits players who also call a relegation
Hallbergmoos
– Anselm Küchle is certainly not plagued by boredom these days.
First the sporting director of VfB Hallbergmoos had to moderate the Corona outbreak and actively support the Bayernliga penultimate in the relegation battle, and incidentally he has to plan the squad for the coming season.
Before the guest appearance at Zweite SV Kirchanschöring (Saturday, 3 p.m.), he always emphasizes the long-term plan and does not deviate an inch from the club line.
With the Corona outbreak in the team, the worst seems to be over.
David Küttner and Fabian Diranko are available again in Kirchanschöring, while the virus has now also caught coach Matthias Strohmaier.
He wasn't there in the hard-fought 0-0 draw in Kottern during the week.
When it comes to Corona, Anselm Küchle is still disappointed that VfR Garching rejected the request for a transfer: "It was about protecting our players and the opposing players.
It was very sobering and a pity, especially since we also complied with Garching's request to swap home rights in the preliminary round."
In his team's relegation battle, Küchle remains calm and formulates the goal of relegation.
"One should rather set smaller goals," says the official.
With the TSV Dachau on the last relegation place, the Hallbergmooser are tied and only because of the direct comparison behind.
Küchle also takes the surprising results of the competitors in the relegation battle over the past few weeks as a sign “that anyone can beat anyone in the league.”
The second Kirchanschöring also lost feathers against their VfB table neighbors.
In addition, the first leg is still remembered when Kirchanschöring made the 2-2 equalizer in Hallbergmoos shortly before the end and prevented the first Bayern league victory in the club's history.
In the summer, the sports director still has to moderate a small upheaval.
About 80 percent of the squad stays on board, regardless of the league.
Küchle does not attract players with the league, but with the long-term plan.
If they didn't manage to stay up, coaches and players would take the step back to be back at the top a year later.
The duality is also an issue in talks with potential newcomers.
VfB Hallbergmoos wants to establish itself in Germany's fifth division in the long term and not force short-term effects in a quick rush.
"We have extended the contract with top performers and will have a very good team again next season," promises the sporting director of VfB.
