TSV Eching goes to SV Nord Lerchenau after the Corona break
Eching
– Is a weekend without games during the season helpful or poison?
"As well as.
We were in rhythm, but also had a few failures," explained Alexander Günther, the coach of TSV Eching.
After last weekend's game in Schwabing was canceled at short notice, the Zebras will return to play at SV Nord Lerchenau on Sunday (2:30 p.m.).
The situation at Echingen remains tense: in terms of sport, because TSV is still four points behind the relegation places, and in terms of personnel, because there are also corona cases in addition to the long-term injuries.
“We test what the stuff holds.
The boys are dealing with the situation responsibly," reports Günther, but: "Even those who are allowed out of quarantine are not at 100 percent immediately.
One has to pay attention."
While some district league teams have been in action four times since the winter break, Echinger have only played twice.
The zebras performed well in Eichstätt (2:2) and at Jetzendorf (0:2), second in the table.
"Eichstätt was morally good after falling behind twice and I was also satisfied with the performance in Jetzendorf," says Günther.
But he also knows that his team needs wins.
And to score three times in Lerchenau will be difficult.
Munich are strong at home, only the top teams from Jetzendorf and Dachau scored more points at home.
The SVN has not had a point since the winter break.
And the only two home defeats this season came against Dachau (0:8) and Kammerberg (1:5).
Eching can therefore hope for a sense of achievement.
