The artistic swimming season opened today (Friday) successfully for the Israeli team, when the duo won a bronze medal in the world round competition held in Paris.
The blue-and-white duet consisting of Ariel Nasi and Shelly Bobricki won 82.4852 points for the performance of the technical exercise, with the gold medal won by the local team of France with 83.7 points, and the silver of Greece with 82.7753 points.
This is the first international competition of the Israeli team this season, and the first major world competition since the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
The Israeli duet is led by coaches Anna Teres and Svetlana Belcher.
