The investigation against them opened on March 7 with a report at the end of the game between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Betar Jerusalem, of a fan attack by a number of rival fans who allegedly stopped their car next to a group of fans who burned their team flag, got out of the car and started attacking them.
As a result,
they returned to the vehicle and fled the scene.
To track down the suspects involved in the incident, meanwhile the police have from time to time arrested a number of suspects for questioning at the station, including a suspect who tried to escape police detention but was eventually neutralized and imprisoned.
