The Wounded Al-Watan Project announced that tests for the assessment of the injured in sports were launched yesterday in the governorates of Damascus, Damascus Countryside, As-Suwayda, Daraa and Hama.
The project explained in a post on the social networking site Facebook that the wounded were subjected to tests in several sports, including basketball, badminton, athletics, physical strength, table tennis and swimming, noting that these tests were carried out under the supervision of a specialized committee of the General Sports Federation, with the aim of reaching the talented wounded who meet the international standards of international federations. Special sports and their support under the cooperation agreement between the Jarih Al-Watan Project and the General Sports Federation.
The project indicated that the tests would enable the wounded, who do not meet the standards, who wish to play sports, to go to the clubs for free, pointing out that the tests will be transferred to the rest of the governorates successively and target hundreds of talented wounded people who want to play sports, provided that they are reorganized every three months.
