Linoy Ashram summed up her legendary career today (Monday), about a week after she officially announced her retirement from gymnastics shortly before her 23rd birthday.
Ashram became the first Israeli woman to win an Olympic gold medal, climbing to the top of the podium in a major battle at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics - the most important and prestigious gold medal in the artistic gymnastics industry.
Ashram was crowned European Champion in Multi-Fighting in 2020 and Vice World Champion in Multi-Fighting in 2018.
In addition, she won a total of 11 medals at the World Championships and 6 medals at the European Championships, including gold in a major battle at the 2020 European Championships and gold in the baton exercise at the 2021 European Championships.
Beyond its great success in the gym, the ashram has played a very central role in making artistic gymnastics a popular industry in Israel, which more and more children and teenagers are experiencing.
