A blow to Bayern Munich.
The Bavarians were notified tonight (Monday) that Freiburg, their rival in the game last Saturday, demanded a technical victory after the Bavarians shared 12 players for 17 seconds following a serious mistake by the team manager.
As you may recall, Marcel Zavitzer came on the field in place of Kingsley Coman but the Frenchman, who currently wears the number 11, remained on the field.
The sign of the exchanges marked 29 - the number that Koeman wore at the beginning of the season and only after 17 seconds did the German champions notice that they were playing with a surplus player.
After realizing the mistake Koeman got off the field and the game resumed.
If Bayern does suffer a technical loss as expected, its gap from second-placed Borussia Dortmund will stand at six points.
Freiburg will win by three points despite losing 4-1 in the game and will be able to cling to Leipzig in fourth place, in the battle for a ticket to the Champions League.
