Summary: Barcelona - Betis 63:83 (Sport 1)
At the end of two rounds in the Premier League, Maccabi Tel Aviv returned to its almost natural place and remained at the top.
Her victory last night (Monday) 61:84 over Hapoel Gilboa / Galil in Yad Eliyahu combined with the surprising loss of Hapoel Jerusalem to Maccabi Rishon Lezion, gave them first place, and now the Yellows will be able to host Jerusalem in the top house.
The team is waiting to receive their order of play in the upper house, after they have already forwarded to the manager requests for specific dates on which they can play in light of their participation in the playoffs in the Euroleague.
"In the end, you look at the table and everything is natural, everything is as usual," one of the Maccabi Tel Aviv players teased yesterday after Hapoel Jerusalem's loss.
"We went back to where we need to be and belong. Not every group can be in first place."

Last night's win was the Yellows' first without Scotty Wilbkin, who was rested.
Neither Ante Zizic nor Angelo Cloiaro got dressed and Keenan Evans played just 5 minutes yesterday.
Maccabi got another excellent game from Roman Sorkin with 15 points and was helped by a good contribution from James Nanley with 16 in 18 minutes and John Dibertolomao with 10 in 17.
"Gilboa beat us this season, but this time we played better and executed the game plan properly on both sides of the field," Dibertolomao analyzed, complimenting Sorkin and others who remove rust in league games.
"There are players who go through a long period without significant minutes, they need to gain confidence. This is a good opportunity for us to work on things, we do not have time to train and these games are very important for us."
Maccabi will begin preparations this morning for the game against Barcelona on Thursday, with the club following the other results in the Euroleague to get a clearer picture of the identity of their opponent in the playoffs.
"We have not dealt with Barcelona yet. I liked how we came to this game, we were very aggressive from the start, and also against Barcelona we will have to know how to keep it for 40 minutes," Dibertolomao concluded.
