The second day of the Princess Cup in Palma brightened the face of the Israeli team.
Despite the weather continuing to be harsh and cold, Shahar Reshef managed to climb to second place in iQFoil surfboards.
The day of surfing began with a marathon, an hour or more (as opposed to the usual 12-minute cruises).
In the marathon, Reshef finished in tenth place, but in the other two cruises of the day, she finished in third and first place.
The competition is led by the Frenchman Helen Nussmon, with 13 points from Reshef.
The rest of the women's team is also still strong in the picture of the medal cruises, with two more full days of competition left.
Daniela Peleg (5th place), Maya Morris (8th), Sharon Kantor (9th) and Shachar Tibi (12th) need two good surfing days to finish in the top ten and advance to the quarterfinals on Friday.
In men Tom Reuben rose to 17th place after three good cruises (places 6,5,7).
On the other hand, Yoav Omer (19th place) and Tomer Vardimon (20th) deteriorated slightly.
Today, Kate Foil surfers also joined the circle of competitions, when in the men's Dor threw with a beautiful start to the competition and 12th place at the end of the first day.
In women Gal Zuckerman and Mia Ashkenazi in 16th and 17th places, after 3 cruises.
In the 470 sailboats, the Israeli team of Nitai Hasson and Noa Lasri finished the day in ninth place, a decrease of three places from yesterday, following a weak cruise, in which they finished in 12th place.
