In the quarter-finals of the premier class on Tuesday there were two exciting pairings.

Liverpool won at Benfica while Manchester City beat Atlético Madrid.

• Quarterfinals 1st leg: Benfica 1-3 Liverpool (0-2), Man City 1-0 Atlético (0-0)

• Jürgen Klopp* won with his Liverpool FC at Benfica Lisbon 3-1.

• Pep Guadiola* won with Manchester City against Atlético Madrid.
