There seems to be something to the rumors about Robert Lewandowski and FC Barcelona.
Barca president Laporta apparently met the Pole's agent.
Munich/Barcelona – does Robert Lewandowski* actually switch to FC Barcelona?
As the Spanish journalist Toni Juanmarti reports from the newspaper
Sport
, there have been at least two meetings between Barcelona club president Joan Laporta and Lewandowski advisor Pini Zahavi in the last few weeks.
Robert Lewandowski |
Born: August 21, 1988 (age 33 years), Warsaw, Poland |
Club: Bayern Munich |
Height: 1.85 m |
Weight: 81kg |
The meetings went well, and now we are waiting for a decision from the Pole.
Zahavi and Laporta are on good terms, according to the Barca insider's report, which may have accelerated the progress of the talks.
Confidence is growing in the Catalan capital that Lewandowski can be guided to him.
FC Bayern: Robert Lewandowski probably in concrete talks with FC Barcelona
Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano spoke of concrete negotiations between Barca and Lewandowski a few days ago.
Now he reports that things like salary and contract terms have already been discussed.
Can FC Bayern* put pressure on it?
Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic * saw the matter calmly and referred to a "clear internal plan" as far as the extensions of the stars were concerned.
Does he follow the call of the Catalans?

In addition to Lewandowski, Serge Gnabry is currently the focus of speculation.
The contracts of the two stars both run until 2023, if Munich still wants to collect a handsome transfer fee, the only thing left is a sale in the summer.
Despite all the reports, it seems clear: Bayern will do everything possible to prevent their world footballer from changing.
FC Bayern: Robert Lewandowski wants to play at the top level for a long time – but where?
Similar to the great interest from Real Madrid 2018, the record champions could put a stop to a corresponding offer.
Efforts to bind the goalscorer with a new contract should already be underway - anything else would be grossly negligent.
According to reports, the 33-year-old is asking for a contract of at least three years and wants to play at the top level for a long time to come.
FC Barcelona would be willing to fulfill his wish - but the Munich team still have it in their own hands.
