With a streak of four Euroleague victories under its belt, Maccabi Tel Aviv will host Barcelona tonight (Thursday) in the 34th round of the Euroleague.
The Yellows come into the game from sixth place with a balance of 15 wins versus 11 losses, while their opponent secured first place in the factory with 21 wins and 6 losses.
In a match between the two in the first round, Maccabi Tel Aviv defeated Sharas' team 68:85, completing five victories out of the last six meetings with the Catalans.
Avi Even's team wants to keep a chance to finish in fifth place, and in order to do so, it must win tonight and complete a double victory over Barça.
If the guest loses and Anadolu Zero wins one of its next two games, Maccabi Tel Aviv will finish in sixth place for sure.
On the other hand, the locals, who have won 13 of their 14 home games, have decided not to register a number of players for the game and are missing Nico for Provitola, Kyle Koric, Corey Higgins, Brandon Davis and Pierre Oriola.
