Coach Domenico Tedesco made that clear in the run-up to the game.
"We must not lose patience.
We mustn't be too hungry, we mustn't be too greedy," warned the 36-year-old on Wednesday.
Still, he knows what's at stake.
"The game is important for the club.
We have the opportunity to qualify for the top four, that would be a really good story,” said the successful Leipzig coach, who goes into the duel with ten unbeaten competitive games in a row.
