Before returning to the Parisian cinders for the traditional quintés on Friday evening, the event of the day was set at the Deauville racecourse (Calvados).
Sixteen competitors were in contention on the fiber sand track for a journey of 1,900 m.

(n°15), the two leaders,
Kahuna
(n°16) went on the offensive halfway through the finish line and s is several steps ahead of his pursuers.
Ridden by Fabrice Veron, this 5-year-old gelding trained by Francois Rohaut then contained the final thrust of
Khochenko
(n°2), his most dangerous rival, which enabled him to win his first quinté for his third participation.
This 5-year-old gelding confirms his rise after winning this winter on the Cagnes-sur-Mer track (Alpes-Maritimes).

Still delayed at the beginning of the last bend,

(n°2), forced to start from stall n°16, regained considerable ground all along the straight and finished at the hip of the winner.
Also noticed by its end of the race, side rope,
Super Super Sonic
(n°13) seizes the third place and precedes
Exciting
(n°5) which made illusion for a better classification in mid-straight line.
