VfB Forstinning has reached the next cup final.

After entering the final of the district cup against SV Anzing, the district league team also won the semifinals at district level in the Toto Cup at FC Neuhadern.

With 6: 2 (5: 1) he prevailed.

Forstinning

– In this competition he meets SpVgg 1906 Haidhausen in the final on May 1st.

With another success, attractive opponents would be waiting for VfB in the first main round of the Toto Cup.

The Forstinningers put in an extremely effective initial phase.

After 24 minutes, the guest led 4:0 and put the leaders of the district league in their place early on.

Captain Korbinian Hollerieth completed a nice combination via Sven Jajcinovic and Ivan Sadric (6th), before Dimitar Kirchev increased the lead to 2-0 (12th) with a direct acceptance.

Not a minute later, Mustapha Sillah remained calm at the end of the goal and scored to make it 3-0 (13th), and again Hollerieth skilfully surpassed Neuhadern's goalkeeper to make it 4-0 (24th).

FC Neuhadern had to shake themselves first, but Alexander Gratz (35th) shortened the lead.

However, with the 5:1 (44th minute) Kirchev immediately restored the old distance after fine preliminary work by Jajcinovic.

The pace and level of play remained high in the second half as well, with Forstinning playing really strong combination football.

However, with little profit, only Marko Nikolic hit the net (61st).

Other top-class players from Suheyp Trabelsi, Ivan Bacak and Jajcinovic remained unused.

The last goal of the day was reserved for Neuhadern's Quirin Jürgens to make it 2:6 (85th).

"Duty fulfilled, hooked." VfB coach Ivica Coric was satisfied with the manner of the victory and now calls for the level to be maintained for the next tasks in league operations.
