Tottenham Hotspur secured fourth place in the Premier League table with a 4-0 win at Aston Villa.
With Arsenal losing 2-1 to Brighton, Spurs now have 57 points from 31 games three points clear of their north London rivals, although the Gunners have played a game fewer.
It was Tottenham's fifth win in a row and Arsenal's third defeat in four games.
Fourth place in the table means participation in the Champions League.
Heung-min Son put Tottenham ahead in the third minute when he fired from the edge of the box after Harry Kane's shot was blocked.
The ball hit the inside post and from there into the goal.
As a result, the hosts had a number of chances, but the degrees remained too imprecise.
And if things got dangerous, keeper Hugo Lloris made sure that the Spurs could go into the break with a lead.
After the change of sides, Dejan Kulusevski increased for the guests (50th minute), before Son made his hat-trick perfect with his goals two (66th) and three (71st).
