European Fencing Championship: Libya team did not appear for battle with Israel Israel today

The Arab team was eliminated from further competitions in Dubai • The chairman of the fencing organization in Israel, Yossi Harari: "" The Arabs are sitting in the international fencing organization and we are unable to do anything "• The blue and whites qualified for the next stage, in which they surrendered to the United States 45:44

For the third time in a week, Arab athletes choose not to compete against Israeli athletes, when this morning it happened at the World Youth and Cadet Championships in Swing, which was held in Dubai.

If we got used to a lone athlete doing this every time, this time it was the entire Libyan fencing team, which was supposed to meet in the first round in the Decker model to compete in white and blue and just did not show up - as explicitly written on the competition website.

The person who did not like the case is the chairman of the Fencing Association, Yossi Harari, who told Israel Today: "The Arabs sit in the international fencing organization and we are unable to do anything.

Again nothing helped us, they always knew how to dodge.

"Maybe we did not press hard enough, we might try now through the International Olympic Committee."

On the great competition that has so far provided two silver medals to Israel, Harari added: "There is a leap in the industry in Israel, we gave the youth and cadets everything they need, probably after two years of not competing in any factory."

Despite the technical victory over Libya, in the next stage the Israeli team (Alon Sarid, Yonatan Cohen, Dov Wilensky and Yonatan Mesika) met the strong team of the USA and lost in a dramatic 45:44 battle.

Were we wrong?
