This victory was incredibly important: SVA Palzing beat TSV Eching 3-1.

A guarantee of success was the battered captain.

Eching/Palzing

– It looked bad when Marcel Radlmaier collided with his teammate Louis Goldbrunner.

Radlmaier, the captain of SVA Palzing, had to be treated on the sidelines for a few minutes, but coach Sepp Summerer didn't replace him.

He knew about Radlmaier's ability to take things.

He continued ailing and became the figure of the derby victory at TSV Eching.

Because the guests showed greater will in the district league basement duel with the weakened zebras and won 3:1 (0:0).

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

TSV coach Alexander Günther was missing three important players after the two-week break - first because of Corona, then because of the weather: Captain Florian Höltl had to pass, as did Manuel Joos and Maximilian Mayer.

Instead, Daniel Amannsberger returned to the starting XI.

He had caused danger during the preparation with his dangerous standards.

The pattern: Corner pulled sharply from the right with his left foot onto the second post, goal Christian Niederstrasser.

Günther: "If he goes in, I'm sure things will be different."

In the game against Palzing, it took less than two minutes for this co-production, but this time Niederstrasser headed just wide from about five meters.

A huge opportunity.

"If he goes in, I'm sure things will be different," said TSV coach Günther.

A standard goal would have been good for his team, because despite more possession, his team posed little danger.

The SVA Palzing initially also had no decisive offensive actions.

He put the finishing touches: Fabian Radlmaier (r.) secured the second SVA victory in a row with his goal to make it 3:1.

After about a quarter of an hour, Marcel Radlmaier and Louis Goldbrunner crashed together.

"Marcel was bleeding from his lip and nose, and his eye was also swollen," reported SVA trainer Sepp Summerer.

And further: "I waited – also because Marcel wanted to continue." Summerer was worth playing outnumbered for a long time.

After twelve minutes Radlmaier came back.

From then on he not only played with the bandage after his hand was broken, but also with bandages on his face.

Nothing more happened before the half-time break.

Palzing comes back quickly after falling behind

After the change of sides it only took two minutes before the first goal was scored: Matthew Atkinson chased the ball under the bar from eleven yards out and caused loud cheering from the Echingen team (47').

However, Palzing came back quickly: Jonas Grundmann deliberately converted Fabian Radlmaier's cross – 1:1 (50th).

13 minutes later, the next co-production between the two gave SVA the lead for the first time: this time Grundmann flicked the ball into the corner with his left foot (63').

Palzing was on top and didn't let Thomas Kaindl's yellow-red card stop him (73').

The Radlmaier brothers completed the game in the 80th minute: Marcel headed Fabian, who made it 3-1.

The SVA celebrated its second win in a row and is now five points ahead of the tail light TSV Eching.

The Zebras need to step up or they'll go down a league next season.
