American Magnus Sheffield (Ineos) won the Flèche Brabançonne by winning alone ahead of Frenchman Benoît Cosnefroy and Belgian Tim Wellens on Wednesday in Overijse in the Brussels suburbs.
Sheffield, a 19-year-old neo-professional, signs his second victory of the season after a stage success at the Tour of Andalusia in February.
Note that Julian Alaphilippe was caught in a spectacular fall a few kilometers from his car because of his own car.
