The forward returned to Israel after a full 82-game season in Washington: "I had moments when I was without energy, but it's part of the sport. In the second part of the season I had a chance to produce for others and I enjoyed it."

After a full season of 82 games in the NBA, Danny Abdia landed tonight (Wednesday) in Israel.

The Washington Wizards forward will play for the Israeli team in Eurobasket in September, before returning for his third season in the best league in the world.

Abdia: "The 82 games I played affected me, I had moments that I was also without energy and it was a little harder to recover. But it's part of the sport and it's part of it - you want to play 82 games, and I wanted to do that especially after the injury I suffered.

"In the second half of the season I had more opportunity with the ball, more opportunity to produce for others and I enjoyed it, I enjoyed being there and helping my team win big games. From here I just keep working hard, I know I have a lot to improve and I believe I will do better later. .

"I'm aware of the things I need to improve, I'm not naive. There are also things I want to preserve. In what needs to be improved I see my video, I see all the games. I know ahead of my role in the team next season what I want to improve. Everyone knows what I need to improve, everyone sees the games.

"The first thing I will do in the country? See the friends, I must. Family first of all. And maybe eat something good."
