Trinity Rodman, daughter of whimsical ex-basketballer Dennis Rodman, scored her first goal as the United States crushed Uzbekistan 9-0 in a friendly match in Chester, Pennsylvania on Tuesday.

For her third selection, the 19-year-old striker, who came on in the second half, inaugurated her goal counter for the national team with a low shot in the 72nd minute.
Rodman, who plays for defending American League champion Washington Spirit, celebrated his first cap in February.
A whimsical father
She is the daughter of Dennis, who was five times NBA champion, in 1989 and 1990 with Detroit and from 1996 to 1998 with Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls.
From 1992 to 1998, he finished seven seasons in a row as the league's top rebounder, a record unequaled in the North American league.
Known for his tattoos, dyed hair and dissolute life of raw skinning, Rodman was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2011.

Uzbekistani Kamila Zaripova had scored an own goal in the first minute, before the Americans added to the score with, in addition to the goal from Rodman, doubles from Rose Lavelle and Catarina Macario, and goals from Mallory Pugh, Midge Purce and Ashley Sanchez.
