Tonight (Wednesday), Maccabi Tel Aviv will close the regular season in the Euroleague, in a home game against Fenerbahce, the paramount importance of which is to determine the identity of the Yellows' opponent in the quarter-final series that will open next week.
As you may recall, the Turkish team, which in stark contrast to the Israeli champions was badly hurt by the factory leaders' decision to cancel the results of the Russian teams that were ousted following the invasion of Ukraine, was supposed to reach Elijah in January but the game was postponed due to Corona's outburst.
Although Maccabi Tel Aviv surrendered 85:82 to Hapoel Holon in its last league game, in the Euroleague it stands on five consecutive victories and enjoys excellent momentum in the last month and a half, when last week Avi Even's players outscored Barcelona's 80: 104.
Tonight's victory will send Maccabi Tel Aviv to the series against Real Madrid in the next stage, while a loss to the Turks will lead to at least three games against Olympia Milan.
Either way, as is well known, the Yellows will have no home advantage in the next round.

The host started a little lazy and saw the Turks go up to 3: 9.
