Villarreal coach Emery hands out against FC Bayern: "You have to be man enough"

FC Bayern failed in the Champions League round of 16 at FC Villarreal.

After the 1-1 draw in the second leg, coach Emery hands out against Munich and recommends humility.

Munich – The people of Munich had imagined that differently.

In the Allianz Arena at home, FC Bayern Munich* failed to close the sack after beating Villarreal 1-0 and conceded the late equaliser.

After the 1-0 defeat in the first leg, FCB are once again knocked out in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

After winning the title in 2020, things just don't go well for the Reds in the knockout phase.

Bayern boss Oliver Kahn analyzed after the game: "There are few teams that are more unpleasant to play against.

"We were the better team in Villarreal and deserved the results," explained the Spaniard.

For the Villarreal coach it was a perfect match in defense and the only way against teams with great attacking power like FCB.

He also recommended Bayern more humility.

"You have to be man enough," Emery said.
