Munich/Barcelona - It's a historic game for Eintracht Frankfurt: Tonight (from 9 p.m.) the Hessians are playing the second leg of the quarter-finals in the Europa League* in the legendary Nou Camp.
And: After the 1-1 draw in the first leg, the SBU even has a chance of progressing against the almost overwhelming FC Barcelona.
A semi-final with German participation would also be good for the Bundesliga* after FC Bayern failed sensationally at FC Villarreal (0:1, 1:1) in the Champions League.

"I want to drink from the damn cup - but I have to wait until Seville for that," said Eintracht President Peter Fischer before the game.
Board spokesman Axel Hellmann compared the Europa League guest appearance at FC Barcelona with the cup final against FC Bayern in 2018: "It's a final.

30,000 supporters had traveled from Germany to the capital of the Catalonia region and had a huge (and peaceful) football party in the city center hours before kick-off.
Club President Fischer, who described the two games against the Spanish giants as the biggest Eintracht games since 1960, mingled with the SGE fans and drank cans of beer with them.
