More than 8000 Hapoel Haifa fans purchased a ticket to the State Cup semifinals.
They were promised a celebration, a children's activity complex and more, but it seems that despite the tremendous effort and money invested, the red crowd will have to settle for just entering the game.
"Israel Today" has learned that the police do not allow the opening of the "Pan Zone" complex before the game and the hall where Hapoel fans were supposed to gather will not populate them in the end.
The heads of the "Red Heart" fan organization, along with businessmen Tzachi Nakash and Nissim Billia, tried to close another club, but it also failed.
The organized shuttle system will depart as planned, but not in the early afternoon as originally planned.
"Tens of thousands of shekels went down the drain," the event organizers said in disappointment.
Tonight, the sale will end for Hapoel Haifa fans ahead of the Cup semi-final, and about 3,000 tickets for Goal 8, which have not yet been sold, will be transferred to Maccabi Haifa fans.
In another matter, the group's liaison, Hanan Maman, was released today (Thursday) to his home from Rambam Hospital in light of a benefit in his condition after undergoing surgery on his abdomen.
Luckily for Maman, no further surgery is needed.
He will rest until the start of next season and will try to return to training in July.
Coach Elisha Levy is debating who will replace Maman in the semifinals.
One option is Ness Zamir, but the club's youth team star, Rauf Jabarin, is also in the 11th picture.
