There are two groups at the Ice Hockey World Championship 2022: The teams first fight for entry into the quarter-finals.
Helsinki / Tampere in Finland - The 2022 Ice Hockey World Championships will be hosted by Finland at the Helsinki and Tampere venues.
The international competition, which is watched by many spectators and fans worldwide, begins on May 13, 2022.
The first game is at 3:20 p.m.
Long before the start of the World Cup, the participating teams were divided into two groups.
They have to compete against opponents who have been drawn within their groups and qualify for the next rounds by winning.
According to the schedule, the first match will take place between France and Slovakia.
On the same day at 7:20 p.m., the German national team in Group A made their first appearance against Canada.
The German team will also face France in the first round on May 17, 2022 at 7:20 p.m.
On May 19, 2022 at 3:20 p.m., the Danish team will represent the opponent. On May 20, 2022, the German team will also play against Italy at 3:20 p.m.
This is followed by more matches against Kazakhstan on May 22, 2022 at 3:20 p.m. and against the Swiss team on May 24, 2022 at 11:20 a.m straight to the quarter finals.

The games of the Ice Hockey World Championship in Finland in 2022 will take place at 11:20 a.m., 3:20 p.m. and 7:20 p.m.
The match schedule provides for competitions to take place every day during the group stage, with each team getting at least one day off between matches.
Each team must play each opponent once within their group.
There are two groups, Group A and Group B, each containing eight teams.

The other two games in this phase are played in reverse by the winners from group B and fourth from group A or the second from group B and third from group A.

At the Ice Hockey World Championships in Finland in 2022, the schedule stipulates that the first and second quarter-finals will take place on May 26, 2022 at 3:20 p.m.
The third and fourth encounters will be held on the same day at 7:20 p.m.
The next competitions are then already the semi-finals: These will be held two days later on May 28th, 2022: At 1:20 p.m. and 5:20 p.m. it will be decided who may advance to the final.
The teams that don't make it by then will compete against each other in the match for third place on May 29, 2022 at 2:20 p.m.
