Mandanda, always there
Holder in this Europa League Conference, Steve Mandanda took advantage of it to gain playing time. And the Marseille goalkeeper was still brilliant on the lawn of PAOK.
His two parades in one minute in front of Akpom and Crespo (10th) allowed Marseille to breathe in a complicated start.
Still present on a hot spot before the break (45th), then on a volley from Zivkovic (70th) and a shot from Mitrita (83rd) in the second half, he justified his status as an eternal legend of this OM by bringing this serenity which affected the whole team.
Payet, him again
Author of a sumptuous goal in the first leg, Dimitri Payet was again decisive in the return.
If his achievement is less pretty, it remained very important in this meeting since it allowed OM to open the scoring.
Scorer from close by having the right gesture on a cross from Guendouzi, the Reunionese again showed the muscles and, like four years ago (in the Europa League), seems to be the strong man of his team in the European Cup.

Guendouzi, a real mad dog
As often, Mattéo Guendouzi was impeccable in the midfield.
An outstanding fighter, he was important in the rare weak times his team went through.
Above all, it was he who built the Marseille goal by first being the author of the recovered ball, then of the decisive pass on a perfect cross for Payet.
In a word: tireless.
Rongier, the other man in the shadows
He is tossed about in several positions this season but it is in a usual role of midfielder that he delivered a good performance on the lawn of PAOK.
Raking a lot of balls, the former Nantes player did not save himself and covered an impressive ground, even signing two decisive interceptions in the middle of the second period.
A very good complement to Guendouzi in the midfield.
FLOPS
The PAOK, too light
If the atmosphere of the Toumba stadium was fantastic, the same cannot be said for the team lined up on the lawn.
Deprived at the last minute of El Kaddouri, scorer in the first leg, PAOK did not really exist in this meeting.
If the start was correct, it did not have an extension as OM knew how to control the game and made their opponent run.
A Greek team which found itself without mental and physical resources to react to the opener of the Marseille score.
Bakambu, not sharp enough
For his 5th match in the Europa League Conference, Cédric Bakambu has still not found the fault.
Holder in tip, the former Sochalien did not weigh on the opposing defense despite a few calls in depth.
A little messy in his controls and offensive actions, he seems less efficient than Dieng and Milik in this sector.
