As you may recall, Solomon was one of the first foreigners of Shakhtar Donetsk to escape from Ukraine with the onset of the Russian invasion and the outbreak of war, and in the last two months he tried to keep fit through personal training and also took part in the two Israel friendly matches at the end of last month.
He has now arrived in Turkey and joined his teammates who are currently on a game tour in Europe called "Shakhtar's Global Journey for Peace".
Shakhtar, who in recent years has not been playing in Donetsk but in Kiev, is now in Istanbul and preparing for tomorrow's prep game against Fenerbahce and all proceeds from it are donated to help the Ukrainian people.
Last week, still without Solomon of course, Shekhtar defeated Polish side Lachia Gdansk 2: 3 and last Saturday they hosted Olympiacos in Greece in a match that ended 0: 1 in favor of the Greeks.
