TSV Eching does not get up after a late deficit and loses 1:3 in Kammerberg.

Kammerberg

– There are three groups in the district league north this season.

The top duo with Dachau and Jetzendorf, the large middle part, which is completed by the SpVgg Kammerberg and extends to the relegation places.

And then a quartet at the end of TSV Eching, who is fighting for a relegation place.

Kammerberg and Eching urgently needed points in a direct duel.

The game association secured this and deservedly won 3:1.

The Echinger need a series to avert relegation - and that is far away.

Koston is right with his decision

After two defeats, the Kammerbergers wanted to get back on the road to success.

Player-coach Matthias Koston wanted to give his team a new impetus and then made a decision that would have a major impact on the course of the game: he gave his center forward Patrick Sturm a break and put Alexander Nefzger in the center of attack.

"It was a gut decision," explained Koston.

At first, however, Nefzger saw few balls, because Eching was the better team in the early stages.

Coach Alexander Günther's team let the ball run and put pressure on without creating any great chances.

The Kammerberger helped with this.

After a corner, Lukas Schmitt steered the ball into his own goal - the lead for the tail light (20th).

The Kammerberger tried for a quick answer and increased as a result.

When the Echinger chain had moved up too far, Nefzger got the ball and passed TSV keeper Alessandro Kestler (1:1, 28th).

So Koston's gut feeling hadn't deceived him.

But there was still more than an hour to play and the points for both teams were too few.

Kammerberg was the more dominant team after the equalizer at the latest.

The superiority of the hosts continued even after the change of sides.

There was more activity in front of the Echinger gate than on the other side.

SpVgg keeper Markus Eisgruber had little to do.

However, the people in front of him did not initially find the gap in the zebra's defense.

Koston came on for Schmitt.

The joker went into the game with anger in his stomach and converted it into energy.

In the 83rd minute, TSV goalkeeper Kestler couldn't clear the ball after a standard situation, on the contrary, he made it dangerous.

Joker Sturm prevailed and headed the ball over the line (83') – 2:1 for Kammerberg.

Now it became apparent how unstable the Echinger construct is this season.

Because instead of gathering and starting a final offensive, the bell rang again just two minutes later in the guest box.

After a counterattack, Nefzger made it 3-1 for the home team.

The air is getting thinner and thinner for Eching

For the zebras, the air is getting even thinner in the relegation battle.

The gap to relegation place 12 is still five points, but Palzing can pull away to eight points in the catch-up game with a win.

"We are very disappointed," said Zebras coach Günther.

The mood was much better with the Kammerbergers.

Spielvereinigung have taken 12 points from their six games since the winter break.

"We showed a reaction - to the two defeats and to being behind against Eching," said Koston, who had done everything right with his attacking decision.
