There is finally good news at FC Bayern: three players are apparently close to a contract extension.
Munich – After the Champions League, FC Bayern* wants to get out of the whirlpool of negative headlines.
What is the best way to do this?
On the one hand with victories like against Arminia Bielefeld, on the other hand with the long-term commitment of important players.
CEO Oliver Kahn spoke plainly in the Sport1 double pass and let it be known that an agreement with Thomas Müller and Manuel Neuer is not far away *.
Apparently, a third deserved player is now added: substitute goalkeeper Sven Ulreich.
As reported by Sky, the 33-year-old is about to extend his contract by a year.
FC Bayern will probably extend with Müller, Neuer and Ulreich
Accordingly, there is a verbal agreement with Ulreich on a new contract until 2023. The former Stuttgarter would be in his sixth year with Bayern.
If the Munich team extend with Neuer and Ulreich, everything would be settled in the goalkeeping position and sports director Hasan Salihamidzic would have one less thing to worry about.

With the decision for Ulreich and Neuer, however, it is obvious that Alexander Nübel is unlikely to return to Munich next season either.
It is possible that the ex-Schalke will never play for the record champions again*.
He is still on loan to AS Monaco until the end of the season.
FC Bayern: Lewandowski's future still unclear
One concern will probably remain for a while: Robert Lewandowski's future is still unclear.
Kahn explained that it would take time to convince him to stay.
There is a lot of room for speculation, possible successors are already being hotly debated.
He again clearly rejected a Haaland change.
With the extensions of Manuel Neuer, Thomas Müller and Sven Ulreich*, a first step towards securing a successful future would have been taken.
However, coach Julian Nagelsmann pointed out more than once that this also requires new players.
