Miami Heat (1) - Atlanta Hawks (8) 105: 115 (The Heat increased to 0: 2 in the series)
Jimmy Butler returned, at least for one night, to be the player who led Miami to the final series in a bubble two years ago, exploding with a career-high 45 points that included a personal 0-7 run that dominated the game and gave the hit a 0-2 lead over the Hawks.
The visitors came close from a double-digit deficit to just minus three during the final quarter, in which Bogdan Bogdanovich scored 19 of his 29 points in the entire game, but Butler was there to maintain a home advantage.
The Miami Guard finished with 15 of 25 from the field, 4 of 7 for three and 11 of 12 from the penalty line, thus shattering the record (40) he set twice in that final series against the Lakers.
Atlanta was mostly hit by its 19 turnovers in the game, five of which were by Trey Young just in the third quarter, during which the quarterback went out of focus after a whistle for a technical foul against him.
Young lost an unusual amount of 10 balls, along with 25 points he scored and seven assists he delivered.
Alongside Butler, in Miami Tyler Hiro stood out with 15 points, with Max Strauss adding 14.
