Things are getting hectic in the district league: SV Raisting hosts BCF Wolfratshausen, while Penzberg's coach is hoping that his team in Berg won't experience a debacle.

District – The district league teams from the district will have to deal with opponents of different caliber this weekend.

SV Raisting is expecting fourth-placed BCF Wolfratshausen to fight a chasing duel, while FC Penzberg is visiting MTV Berg, who still has to look back.

SV Raisting hosts strong BCF Wolfratshausen

The avoidable defeat at SC Pöcking-Possenhofen, who were threatened with relegation, on Holy Saturday caused some trouble at SV Raisting.

"As in other games, we dropped points unnecessarily," complained SVR player coach Hannes Franz.

"We always have a good atmosphere, that was also the case with the series of losses last season," says Franz. The home game (3 p.m.) against BCF Wolfratshausen is now scheduled for Sunday.

The duel against the fourth in the table is the last top game for the SVR, after that it's only against teams from the lower region of the table.

"It won't be an easy task, also due to our absences," says Franz after his only accurate striker, Denis Grgic, is out for the rest of the season due to a finger injury.

"We have to compensate for the loss through the collective." That didn't work last time in Pöcking.

Things should get better against Ballsport-Club Farchet, which Raistinger clearly defeated 3-0 in the first leg, also because David Hendel and Sebastian Baur, who were absent recently, are returning to the team.

"There will be an eleven on the pitch that can beat the BCF," Franz is convinced.

In the most recent home game, 2-0 over Denklingen, the Raistingers had given the fans a strong performance.

Raistinger have set themselves a special goal against Wolfratshausen, who won three out of four games after the winter break.

"The BCF should be the first team we win against twice this season," explains Franz. If Raistinger actually get three points, they would have passed Wolfratshausen in the table, who are only two points ahead.

Then the SVR could continue to have a say in the fight for promotion places.

FC Penzberg has personnel worries before the mountain game

The defeat of FC Penzberg on the Easter weekend in Haidhausen proved to be a real mood killer.

"During training we were completely out of breath," reports FCP coach Martin Wagner.

The Penzbergers rank sixth with a lot of distance up and down in no man's land in the table.

The rest of the program is quite a challenge: FCP still meets the current third from Denklingen and the leader Oberweikertshofen.

Before that, the away game at MTV Berg is on the program this Saturday (3 p.m.).

In the past, the Penzbergers have regularly struggled against the team from Lake Starnberg, who in ninth place still have to worry about staying up in the league.

The FCP lost the encounter in the League Cup away 2:3 and also the league game in the Nonnenwald in the first half of the season was unluckily lost (1:2).

"Unfortunately we have a lot of battered and sick players," says Wagner.

So he has to improvise once more at MTV, who is still undefeated in the new year.

Eight men are not available at all, Maximilian Berwein, Maximilian Kalus and Maximilian Gerg are questionable.

"We have to see if we can somehow get a powerful team off the ground," says Wagner.

He also sees the game at Lake Starnberg as a character test for his team.

"It will show who is willing to give everything for the team, also with a view to the coming season," the FCP coach makes clear.

He travels to the ninth place in the table with mixed feelings, who still scored 18 points at home (5 wins/3 draws/4 defeats): "If the team plays the way they trained during the week, there will be a debacle in Berg."
