FIFA has set a deadline for the Brazil-Argentina match, which was canceled last year, in the South American qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
The Argentine newspaper, Ole, revealed that the Argentine Football Association had received an official letter from FIFA in the past hours, informing it of the new date of the match, as FIFA decided to hold the match in Brazil on September 22, just two months before the start of the 2022 World Cup.
The result of that match will not affect the two teams who have already qualified for the 2022 World Cup and have already known their opponents in the group stage.
The match between the two teams was canceled minutes after its start last September, due to the medical authorities storming the field to prevent the participation of some Argentine players coming from Britain.
