Helsinki / Tampere in Finland - The Men's Ice Hockey World Championship will take place between 13.05.2022 and 29.05.2022 in Finland.
Spectators can follow the games of the popular tournament not only live on site, but also on their home TV.
There are live broadcasts on different channels and with several providers both on free TV and on pay channels.
However, this time the well-known broadcasters such as ARD / ZDF or Eurosport have not secured the rights to broadcast the World Cup.

During the preliminary round of the Ice Hockey World Championship 2022, a total of 16 teams in two groups will play against each other within the group.
All dates within the group phase are between 05/13/2022 and 05/24/2022 on the broadcast schedule.
The matches are held at 11:20 a.m., 3:20 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. on each game day.
The German national team, which plays in Group A, will be on the ice for the first time on May 13, 2022 at 7:20 p.m. against Canada.
The preliminary round of the Men's Ice Hockey World Championship ends on May 24th, 2022.
The quarter-finals will continue on May 26th, 2022, at 3:20 p.m. and 7:20 p.m.
Two encounters take place in parallel.
Four teams will emerge victorious from the quarter-finals and fight for entry into the final on May 28, 2022 at 1:20 p.m. and 5:20 p.m. respectively.
A day later, the losers of these games will play in the match for third place at 14:20.
On the same day, i.e. on May 29th, 2022, at 7:20 p.m. the time has come: The final will be held in the Nokia Arena in Tampere.
The winner will be the Ice Hockey World Champion of the year 2022.
