The identity of the winners of the personal awards in the NBA is being sought these days, and today the winner of the rookie award of the season was announced.
Scotty Barnes, a Toronto Raptors player selected in 4th place in the draft, won the award, Forward from the University of Florida had an excellent season in the best league in the world and he averaged 15.3 points with 7.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists.
Barnes is the first forward to win the title after five guards in recent seasons, ahead of Detroit's Cade Cunningham from first place in the final draft, as well as Owen Movley from Cleveland who was selected third in the draft and also recorded an excellent season.
