A bomb alarm delayed the start of the NBA playoff game between the Atlanta Hawks and the Miami Heat.
Because of a suspicious package outside the hall, the security authorities temporarily blocked access to the arena.
After an unsuccessful check of the find for explosives, entry was allowed again.
Both teams and spectators who had arrived early were already in the hall when the alarm sounded.
The teams waited in the catacombs and only warmed up on the floor after the all-clear, while the rest of the spectators poured into the arena.
The Hawks around top scorer Trae Young (24 points) won the match, which started almost 45 minutes late, with their last attack 111:110.
A 16-point lead wasn't enough for the Heat to win.
With its first success in the third game of the best-of-seven series to reach the quarter-finals, the former team of national player Dennis Schröder reduced the deficit to 1:2.
Suns are having an unexpectedly difficult time
The Phoenix Suns struggled to regain the lead in the playoff series against the New Orleans Pelicans.
After the unexpected defeat and equalization in the second game on Tuesday, the best team in the NBA main round got a 114:111 in New Orleans.
Chris Paul's team now needs two more wins to advance to the second round of the playoffs.
'The job isn't done yet.
We got one here, we'll have to do that again next time," Paul told ESPN.
He and Deandre Ayton were their team's top scorers with 28 points, while Brandon Ingram had 34 points for the Pelicans.
Bucks take the lead against the Bulls
In another duel, the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Chicago Bulls 111-81 and took a 2-1 lead.
