1: 1 Summary between Ecuador and Argentina (Sports 1)
Four years after canceling her arrival in Israel for a friendly match against the Israeli team, the Argentine team is expected to face the blue and whites on June 6 as part of the preparations for Lionel Messi and his friends for the World Cup in Qatar, the South American media reported last night (Friday).
However, it should be noted that the game is not planned to take place in Israel, but in Europe.
As is well known, the Copa America champion has been scheduled to play against the winner of the last Euro, Italy, which will take place at Wembley Stadium in London on June 1, when the Albiceleste were looking for another rival to practice for the World Cup - and it looks like it will be Israel.
As you may recall, in 2018 Messi and his friends were supposed to stop playing in Israel on the way to the World Cup in Russia, but pro-Palestinian demonstrations and pressure from the BDS organization led the Argentine association to cancel the game.

As of this writing, Argentina is scheduled to play another game in mid-June, against the Brazilian team in Australia, but the Argentines are not interested in playing in the same country, as this will involve large financial expenses and long flights during which players are expected to rest between seasons.
Another game against Brazil, this one of the World Cup qualifiers postponed last year in scandalous circumstances, is set to be replayed on 22 September.
