Former South African third line Pedrie Wannenburg died at the age of 41 on Saturday April 23 in a car accident in Texas, United States.
The Austin Major League Rugby coach was with his wife and two children when his vehicle crashed into that of an individual being chased by police.
Her son is said to be in critical condition and has been taken to hospital.
His daughter and wife are out of danger.

20 selections with South Africa
South African international (20 caps), Pedrie Wannenburg played in France for four years.
He first wore the jersey of Castres Olympique (2012-2014), with whom he won the Bouclier de Brennus in 2013, then that of Oyonnax, then in the elite, from 2014 to 2016.

Before that, the third row stood out by winning Super Rugby twice with the Blue Bulls (2007, 2009), in South Africa.
He also played for Ulster Rugby (2009-2012).
