Bayernliga: VfB Hallbergmoos and FC Ismaning separate goalless.

Hallbergmoos – The plan was probably too good to come true.

With the second win in a row, walk the few meters from the stadium to the Hallbergmooser Volksfest, and then players and fans of VfB wanted to celebrate together and imagine how relegation in the Bayernliga can be achieved without detour relegation.

The problem was a strong opponent.

In the end, VfB's 0-0 draw against FC Ismaning was performance-based.

And: With the victory of the Wasserburgers over Ingolstadt II, VfB is back on a direct relegation zone.

Good start

For VfB Hallbergmoos it's all about surviving in the Bayernliga, while FC Ismaning is currently quite relaxed in the middle of the table.

This initial situation was definitely recognizable on the pitch, because VfB were more venomous in the duels, made more for the game and a lead in the middle of the first half would have been deserved.

The two strikers Kaan Ygün and Fabi Diranko kept doing something surprising and working together in the 12th minute had one of those chances that you don't get by the dozen in the Bayernliga.

Aygün had prevailed on the right and found Diranko at the penalty spot, who shot over it from a completely free position.

That was definitely a chance worth a penalty.

A little later, Philipp Beetz also aimed too high from a similar position (21st).

After the two top chances, the spectacle subsided, even though VfB continued to control the game.

The former Freisinger Daniel Gaedke, as a one-man herd of buffalo, was also happy to take on three or four VfB players, but the Ismaninger game did not get beyond the status of a cautious attempt - rather an unprofitable art.

After the change of sides, the Ismaningers became more active, but with a manageable risk.

Nevertheless, the character of the game had changed towards an open game.

It got really tricky for the hosts for the first time after just over an hour when Ismaninger wildly demanded a hand penalty (61st), and four minutes later you couldn't have complained if the referee had actually pointed to the points.

After the two moments of shock, the home side, who seemed tired at the time, fought back into the match and gave a sign of life again - first with a long-range shot from Diranko, which hit the rink a meter too far to the left of the post.

Overall, that was not enough for a home win, with which one would have wanted to further secure the relegation place.

In the final phase, the Ismaninger marched forward again, even if they didn't have the very high percentage degrees.

At the other end, Andi Kostorz's free-kick went a meter wide, but that would have been too much of a good thing.

This time you had to take a point because in the end it wasn't possible anymore.
