Goal after penalty does not count - Peißenberg has bad luck against Lenggries

It was nothing if TSV Peißenberg won a point: it was 1:2 against Lenggrieser SC, also because a goal after a penalty kick didn't count.

Peißenberg – The final phase almost compensated for the many painful moments.

But luck had a soft spot for the favorite.

And so the district football club TSV Peißenberg remains on course for relegation after the 2-1 defeat against Lenggrieser SC.

First of all: The TSV was the inferior team in terms of football, had Dusel that the Isarwinkler used a relatively careless handling of their counterattack chances.

But the score was only 1:2 when referee Marco Grimm from Schongau announced stoppage time.

Despite eight missing players and being outnumbered for 50 minutes, Peißenberg managed to stand up to the supposed promotion aspirants until the last few moves of the game with the available, albeit modest, means.

"It was accordingly difficult," admitted Florian Heringer in view of the absence of regular players, which included the Jungmann brothers and Elias Graf.

Nevertheless, his team allowed “relatively little”.

Again Jendrzej with a blast from 25 meters brought back the advantage for the guests.

Stupid for TSV: Three players were yellow-preloaded prematurely.

"We have to stay up more often," Heringer commented on his team's joys in tackling, which they also lived out unnecessarily close to the sidelines.

Then maybe Stefan Dietheuer wouldn't have finished work shortly before the break.

After rude boarding against Yasin Filiz, he saw yellow-red.

Peißenberg presented himself defensively after the break.

"Played 0-0 with a man down," said Heringer after three missed counter-moves by the guests.

And then came the big moment for Peißenberger.

First, Lorenz Palmberger's shot hit a Lenggrieser in the head.

Then there was a penalty for TSV after Paul Laß got on board.

Berner stepped up, hit the post, put the ball back in – 2:2?

No!

An invalid try because no other player had touched the ball between the two actions.

A clean pitch.
