Summary: Forest Green - Oldham 0: 2 (Sport 1)
Forrest Green Rovers qualified yesterday (Saturday) for the first time in its history for the League One - the third league in England - and although it is a grain of sand on the beach, in terms of Israeli propaganda this is certainly not good news.
Forrest Green is light years away from the Premier League and the big clubs, but now it's Booker its owner, Dale Vince, is standing on a more central stage than before.

The owner of the modest club from the town of Nilesworth in the south-west of England, is Dale Vince - a green energy industrialist, entrepreneur and famous environmental activist in the British Isles - who is known, among other things, for his fondness for dealing with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
In a game in which Forrest Green hosted Oldham six days ago, it was decided to hoist the Palestinian flag at the small New Lon Stadium.
Vince tweeted and explained: "Today we are waving the flag as a sign of solidarity with Palestine. The conflict there has the same elements as in Ukraine - invasion, occupation, civilian murder, house destruction and closure."
Vince continued: "For decades Palestine has been under Israeli air, land and naval blockade. The United States allows this and flows billions into Israel to support its economy and military.
It also uses its veto power at the UN to prevent significant action against Israel. "

Forrest Green is a club without a significant history in English football.
The team spent most of its years in the lower leagues, but Vince acquired most of its shares in 2010 - mostly to advance its agendas.
Over the years the team players were banned from eating meat, the use of green energy increased and in 2021 the team became the first in the world that its entire outfit is made from recycled materials.
In September 2020 then-Arsenal defender (and Betis Today), Hector Byrne, who leads a vegan lifestyle and works extensively on environmental and animal rights issues, decided to invest in the club and became the second largest shareholder in Forest Green.
About a month ago, Byrne criticized the "hypocrisy" of the world regarding the treatment of the war in Ukraine and said: "The war in Palestine was completely ignored, no one talked about it, not even Yemen and Iraq. Russia has been thrown out of the World Cup, but other countries have been behaving the same way for years. "Eye of other conflicts is racism, it shows insensitivity to the amount of people who lose their lives in vain."
Forrest Green secured promotion to the League One yesterday - for the first time in 133 years of existence - after a 0-0 away win against Bristol Rovers.
Three teams automatically qualify from the fourth to third leagues and with 6 points left in the pot, the Greens have a 7-point advantage over the fourth in the table, Fort Vale.
