– In a very good BOL game, the Echinger women got the next point in the relegation battle.

At home, they were rewarded for the first time for the strong performance of the past few weeks against the second representation from FC Stern Munich in the 1: 1 (0: 0).

In the first half, TSV relied on "power play" and fought for many goal chances through a disciplined and strong tackle.

"Today almost everyone shot at goal," explains head coach Jan Strehlow, whose team was able to maintain the strong form from the Saaldorf game.

"We were clearly decisive in the first half."

But the goals didn't come until the second 45 minutes.

After a nice combination, Anna-Lena Beer used a dust-off to earn a well-deserved 1-0 (51st) lead.

But the women from Munich were also strong in terms of play and running, which led to a balanced second half that was very interesting from a football point of view.

The 1:1 (71st) resulted from a cross, which could be turned safely into the bottom left corner.

In the end, both teams deservedly share the points.

"We played well for the first time in a long time and then rewarded ourselves with something countable," says Strehlow happily.

Next week it's again from the "underdog position" to leaders FC Forstern 2 (Saturday 2 p.m.).

There it is important to “maintain discipline and duel strength”.
