FC Bayern Munich is once again German champions.

What does the global press say about the extraordinary success?

Munich – FC Bayern is the German soccer champion for the tenth time in a row.

In the top game against Borussia Dortmund, Julian Nagelsmann's boys secured historic success.

The coach himself allowed himself a t-shirt gag on the pitch after the game, Thomas Müller provided a merry surprise for Bastian Schweinsteiger, who worked as an expert for ESPN.

Ten championships in a row?

No club in the top five European leagues had managed to do this before Munich.

Of course, it is clear that the international press is overdoing it with hymns of praise that the SID has put together.

The best-known newspapers, from Gazetta dello Sport from Italy to Marca from Spain to L'Equipe from France and The Sun from Great Britain, have praised the success.

FC Bayern are champions: "Bad news for the Bundesliga"

Italy - "Gazzetta dello Sport": "There is only Bavaria.

The Nagelsmann fan has the European record.

Tenth Bundesliga title in a row, it's the first time in the top 5 leagues in Europe.

(...) The Bayern fan Julian Nagelsmann experienced the sweet taste of success for the first time and became German champion for the first time at an age when one normally ends one's active career or trains children."

Italy – “Corriere dello Sport”: “Bayern party in the Bundesliga!

Dortmund ko, 32nd title.

Bayern show no mercy and win their tenth title in a row.”

Spain - “Marca”: “In the end, things turned out the way they had to.

Bavaria is champion.

Ten years in a row.

Good for Bayern, but bad news for the Bundesliga, which seems self-evident from the start.

Since the beginning of the Bundesliga, Bayern have won 31 titles, all other teams together 28. May the beer flow.”

FC Bayern are champions: "Tenth title with colossal victory in the classic"

France - "L'Équipe": "A Bavarian decade.

After the tenth championship in a row, FC Bayern would like above all to be able to compete at the highest European level again after two disappointing years.

(...) In the packed Allianz Arena, Julian Nagelsmann's players didn't want to miss the opportunity in front of their own fans and against the most serious opponents of recent years."

England - "The Sun": "Decade of dominance.

Bayern Munich clinch their tenth straight Bundesliga title in style with a colossal win over Borussia Dortmund in The Classic.”

FC Bayern are champions: ESPN criticizes Brazzo and Kahn, who "were quiet in comparison"

Switzerland: "Blick": "Celebrate Munich!

Because Dortmund lost the "top game" 1:3, Bayern have a twelve (!) point lead three rounds before the end.

When Bayern didn't win the championship for the last time, Barack Obama was still US President, the European Union won the Nobel Peace Prize and Roger Federer won Olympic silver in London.

Ten years have passed since then.

The world is different now.

Not the Bundesliga.

Bayern are the undisputed number 1 there.”

USA - ESPN: “On the pitch, Bayern need significantly better leadership in the long run.

They have talented defenders but lack a natural authority figure on the defensive end.

This also applies off the pitch.

At times, Nagelsmann was the only one who, as a statesman/speaker/diplomat, had to cover all sorts of issues, while Kahn and Salihamidzic were silent by comparison.

Former President Uli Hoeneß, who isn't popular everywhere outside the Bayernsphere, had a way of using his gargantuan status to take the pressure off."

After the game, the protagonists also commented on the victory and the championship, but BVB coach Marco Rose was also angry with the referee.
