Reason to worry?
Novak Djokovic has confirmed that he is "suffering from an unclear illness", which has been affecting his metabolism for several weeks.
At the press conference after his disappointing loss last night (Sunday) in the final of the Belgrade tournament to Andrei Rublev, the world number one said: "This is not Corona and I do not want to elaborate further, but it is something that affects my metabolism."
In the game itself, the tennis player used ice towels several times and got the most out of every second of rest between games.
The confrontation itself lasted two hours and 27 minutes.
"It never happened to me. In the last Monte Carlo tournament I suffered and now here. So, I think it has to do with an illness I went through, which was both physically and health hard," the Serb confessed, perhaps providing another reason for the painful loss to the home crowd in the final.

Djokovic, who as a reminder refused to be vaccinated against Corona, which prevented him from participating in the first Grand Slam of the season in Australia, has not yet won the title in 2022 and will continue to look for him later in the season.
Next month marks the start of the second Grand Slam of the season, Roland Garros, in which the world number one will try to overcome the many difficulties that have accompanied him so far, including the bizarre disease he suffers from, and pick up the 21st career title and third in Paris.
