FC Ismaning could get closer to relegation with a win in Tuesday night's game.

But: A promotion is not an issue for the Bayern Bundesliga soccer team.

Ismaning

– From a sporting point of view, things could get really exciting again in the Bayernliga Süd if FC Ismaning should win their catch-up game against SV Donaustauf (Tuesday, 6:15 p.m.).

Since the second FC Ingolstadt II cannot be promoted due to the relegation of the first team, Regensburg II and Donaustauf are currently occupying the relegation place, which the Ismaningers can come within five points of.

The option honors the FCI, but the club remains completely relaxed.

"We just have to leave the church in the village - and before the season I would have liked to have signed our current eighth place," says President Emanuel Eisenreich.

He would be happy and satisfied if you ended up between sixth and ninth.

"I haven't dealt with the regional league and I certainly won't say the word promotion," says Eisenreich, "but it's also clear that we go on the pitch in every game to win."

The club boss also makes it clear that FC Ismaning will not deviate from its course by a millimeter.

This year, with Alexander Jobst and Yasin Yilmaz, you have two experienced players with leadership qualities and around them are many young people with great development potential.

In the coming summer, other players from their own U19 will be transferred to the first team.

"It's a great advantage that head coach Mijo Stijepic and U19 coach Jacky Muriqi get along so well," says Eisenreich.

The strong FCI youth is the reason that the Ismaningers are only selectively looking for reinforcements on the transfer market.

"We just don't change the squad every year like the next opponent," says Eisenreich with a view to Donaustauf.

The clubs only connection is Tobias Killer, who is a candidate for unlucky guy of the year in the Bayernliga.

He moved from Ismaning to Donaustauf last summer and only played one friendly at the new club.

Otherwise the poor guy was always hurt.

Expected line-up FCI: Radic - Jobst, Weber (Roth), Tomasevic - Hofmann, Krizanac (Bux), Schad, Yilmaz, Mittermaier - Hauk (Gaedke), David.
