After thinking about it, analyzing, examining and weighing it, Rafael Nadal already has a date and place for his return to the courts after a month and a week away from competition.
The Balearic, 35 years old, 36 on June 3,
a priori will
reappear in the next few days at the Caja Mágica in Madrid;
“fairly prepared”, he specifies, but fit as determined by the medical tests that Dr. Ángel Ruiz-Cotorro has regularly carried out on him.
The Spaniard suffered a "stress crack of the third left costal arch" on March 20, while competing in the Indian Wells semifinals against Carlos Alcaraz.
“Despite arriving just before preparation and being difficult, I really want to play and do it at home, since the opportunities are few.
To try to do it in the best possible way.
See you in Madrid”, the Balearic transmitted through his social networks.

Nadal begins to test himself on earth
Since he was injured in the Californian tournament, Nadal could not compete in Monte Carlo or Barcelona.
He first had to take a necessary break and as soon as he exceeded a prudent threshold he began to do controlled physical work, with the aim of not losing muscle tone;
then, on April 18, he set foot on a track for the first time to rally moderately, from less to more.
Now, the number four in the world – best player of the season according to the annual race, with 20 wins and three titles, including the Australian Open – will try to resume activity, but always with caution.
Nadal will travel this week to the Spanish capital, where he will attend several commercial commitments and another of his foundation, and then he will do a final test to determine if he can compete with guarantees in the Caja Mágica.
The last time he won the tournament was in 2017 and last year he lost in the quarterfinals against Alexander Zverev.
