All England Club chief executive Sally Bolton has, according to Sky Sports, confirmed that unvaccinated players - including reigning champion Novak Djokovic - will be able to compete at Wimbledon (June 27-July 10).
Wimbledon organizers have said players who have not been vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus will be allowed to take part in this year's tournament, allowing Novak Djokovic to land on the starting line.
The world No. 1 had, in January, missed the Australian Open in January due to his decision not to be vaccinated against Covid-19, and the Australian government had expelled the Serb after canceling his visa.
Djokovic is the reigning champion at Wimbledon, where he won in 2011, 2014, 2015, 2018 and 2019. Last year, in the final, he dominated Matteo Berrettini last July.
Wimbledon takes place from June 27 to July 10.
