Now it's also official: Jürgen Klopp has today (Thursday) signed an extension to his contract and will continue at Liverpool until the end of the 2026 season. Remember, the last contract Klopp signed was until 2024, and now the manager will complete at least 11 years at Anfield.
It should be noted that the German manager has previously talked about that he intends to take a year off at least after the end of the current contract but that the luxury club has put pressure on him and achieved the goal: a new long-term contract.

After the signing, Klopp told the club's official website: "There are so many words that can describe my feeling now. I am happy, grateful and especially excited. I have so much love for this place. I knew before I arrived, but it intensified after I arrived. Now I know this more than ever.
